Smart technologies for sustainable and efficient energy conversion and management

Scope

The main objective of this research line is the development of methodologies, technologies and systems for the energy conversion and management, supporting the novel “smart” paradigms for the generation, distribution and intelligent, efficient and sustainable use of the electric energy (Smart Grid, Smart Building, Smart Vehicle, Smart Factory).
The themes belonging to this research line are all coherent with the European programs defined by H2020, receipt at the Italian level by the PON 2014-2020. Such research themes are thus coherent with the organizational asset defined by the former regulation of CNR, specifically oriented to the European programs in terms of industrial innovations and, consequently, of fall back on the territory.
Furthermore, all the themes belonging to this research line are present, at least partially, in one of the progect areas (AP) of the DIITET (Dipartimento di Ingegneria, ICT E Tecnologie perl’Energia e i Trasporti) – CNR:

• Tecnologie energetiche a basse emissioni;
• Costruzione sostenibile;
• Fabbrica intelligente;
• Veicoli a basso impatto ambientale per un trasporto sostenibile;
• Tecnologie del mare;
